Thunder is an 8 year old stallion that was gathered from the steens mountain range in Oregon when he was 2. He was started by Justin Morgan of the Snaffle Bit Ranch, located in Riverton, WY. He has competed in team penning, ranch sorting, team doctoring, ranch roping etc. and has won at every event he has competed in. He shows how versitile he is every time he steps off the trailer.

This is Thunder, it was his first reined cow-horse show. We thought he did really well, for having been shown in the open bridle class without any specific preparation. The cows at the show didn't respect horses. They had been used all summer long, but it was fun. We learned a lot about what we have to do to improve as rider and horse.

Justin and Thunder competing in the 1 on 1 team penning.  They competed each month unless there were other things we had to do and did they have fun.  Each month, Justin and Thunder seemed to get either 1st or 2nd!
